Reception teams

The reception teams in Helsinki, Turku and Tampere will welcome all international participants. They will also arrange temporary accommodation for two nights before and after the camp if needed. The level of accommodation is very simple, i.e. you will sleep on school floor or similar and you will need your own sleeping bag and mattress. Breakfast and light supper are included in the price.

Helsinki Reception

The staff of Helsinki Reception will meet all groups that arrive in Helsinki. They will collect a bigger group of people for bus transfer for the flights that arrive at the same time. Some people may have to use public transport for getting to accommodation, which will be arranged at Taivallahti school. It is not very far from the centre of Helsinki, and it’s easy to reach by public transport. The address is Eteläinen Hesperiankatu 38, 00100 Helsinki

Accommodation will be on classroom floors. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 - 10:00 am, and the evening meal at 8:00 - 9:30 pm. Silent hours start  at 10:00 pm. There is a possibility to have a wash at the school. After the camp the accommodation will be in another place, but same rules and customs will apply.

There is no special depository for valuables, so everything you bring with you is on your own responsibility. The most important things, like money and passport, should be kept by yourself, so don’t leave them at the school.
